Who We Are
Since our first date, two things have always been on the table; marriage and building our family. We worked hard to make sure we were the right people for each other before entering into marriage. Once married, we quickly recognized that building our family wasn't going to be as simple a task as we had hoped. While our luck in building our family naturally has not come to fruition, we believe God is directing our family to build through adoption. So, in reading this, welcome to the middle of our adoption story! Our desire is to build our family by bringing the child God has selected for us into our loving home. We might be slightly biased, this child has a lot going for them! They will have a loving mother and father, a brother and sister who will undoubtedly dote over them, and a fur ball of a dog that is waiting to give infinite amounts of kisses! Won't you prayerfully consider supporting our family, in becoming the family God desires for us? We truly believe it takes a village. We thank you in advance for blessing our family with your support.

Our Story
Our adoption testimony starts out much like our relationship does. Having children, whether naturally or through adoption has been on the table since our first date! Through the first year of our marriage, we tried to conceive naturally, to no avail. It was at this point we had to determine whether we would spend a substantial amount of money in the pursuit of conception, or follow what we believe God had called us to…adoption. This particular direction became apparent to me, Andrew, about a year into our marriage. I strongly felt God was leading us to adopt and do so domestically. I did, however, believe that God would work Nicolle’s heart to this conclusion and in her time. Until this happened, it was my honor to support her and be a source of encouragement in our continued efforts in trying to have a baby naturally. But, I knew, through prayer God would eventually lead her heart in the direction of adoption. I remember distinctly the day Nicolle’s heart was stirred to adopt. Our good friends, Matt and Liz Alexander, began their adventure into Foster Care. The first Sunday they came to church with their little child, I could see Nicolle changing right before me! We made it through service, and began talking immediately in the car about what had been going on in her heart during the service. She felt God was directing us to adopt domestically, and that we needed to get started immediately to find out what avenues we needed to take to start our journey. I spent the rest of the evening on the computer searching for adoption steps, and calling friends we knew who had adopted.
We have come to rely heavily on our friends CJ and Andrea Mills, and also Jordan and Melissa Palmer! Throughout these steps, the Mills have encouraged us through prayer, insight, and emotional support, while the Palmers have been very supportive through prayer, logistical efforts, and even introducing us to the agency that we are now working to adopt through! While these are two great examples of those supporting us through our journey, we know we have hundreds of others supporting us both in prayer and financially. Ultimately, we believe God has called us to a Domestic Adoption, and we believe He has prepared and has placed a baby in this world for us! Just as Christ has adopted us into His family through Salvation, we are anxiously awaiting our moment to choose and adopt this child into our family! And, throughout this process, we are praying for our birth mother, her support system, her emotional and spiritual well-being, and the child that she ultimately is carrying for us. We know God was the one who instructed us to adopt, and we are relying on Him for provision every step of the way!

Our Journey Thus Far...
January 2018
We are MATCHED!! Our sweet baby is due early April 2018! Her name is Daisy and the baby is due April 14th! We don't know the gender of the baby yet, but we couldn't be more thrilled to share this news with you first!
Thank you so much for all your support both financially and prayerfully! We couldn't have made it this far without your help! Please be praying for us to meet the rest of our financial goal. With this fundraiser and the portraits that I (Nicolle) make on Etsy we are at about $15,000. We still have about $10,000 in need for the rest of the agency fees as well as travel expenses. As we will have to go to Kansas for about a week once the baby arrives. We are confident we can raise the funds and we have 2 months to do so!
If you feel led to share our fundraiser with someone looking for opportunities to give, we would be so blessed! And please keep our birth mom in your prayers, we want her to know what an incredible answer to prayer she has been as well as she is giving us the most precious gift.
THANK YOU!! We will be keeping you all updated as soon as we have more information.
